Open Einoow’s game in your phone’s browser. Drag Pokémon by their tiles to move them. In the version 34 item manager, tap an item and then a Pokémon; on mobile, press Save to apply the equipment changes.
The version 34 update adds a full-screen item manager on phones. Moving a Pokémon on the board and editing its equipment are separate actions: board moves use tiles, while the mobile item manager holds equipment changes until you save them.
Where to play on a phone
Use Einoow’s official Kanto Tactics link in your mobile browser. This browser route does not require an APK download. The independent wiki you are reading provides instructions and links to the game; it does not run your battle or store your progress.
If you already have a run, reopen the same browser and game location. Opening another browser or private tab does not transfer the local save. To continue from another device, follow the cloud-save step below while you can still access the original save.
The developer’s mobile update does not guarantee that every phone and browser version works. If the game page never opens, use the dated website-access notice and loading checks before changing browser storage.
Move Pokémon with touch or a mouse
Put your finger on the Pokémon’s tile, drag it to the position you want and release. The Guide says the drop lands under your finger on mobile. Dropping it onto another Pokémon you own swaps their positions.
Use the tile as your starting point, then check the board after the drop. Moving a unit changes its placement; it does not buy another copy or increase the number of Pokémon your trainer level allows on the field. For that distinction, see the first-team guide.
Equip items on mobile, then press Save
- Open the item manager and find the item in the bag, which is sorted by type.
- Tap the item, then tap the Pokémon that should receive it. Dragging is also supported in the mobile manager.
- Check the proposed loadout. The vitamin recipes are visible, and recipes you can already make are marked in green.
- Press Save to apply your changes. On mobile, nothing changes until you press this button.
If the item seems to be on the right Pokémon in the manager but the loadout has not changed outside it, check whether you saved. This is the equipment editor’s Save button; it is separate from the account’s Save to the cloud option below.
During combat, the Guide permits equipping, combining and using a Magnet on benched Pokémon, but not on Pokémon that are fighting. Wait for planning before changing a fighter’s loadout. To remove equipment, follow the Magnet instructions.
The two-tap equip method is also available on PC. While choosing an item, the Recipes button shows combinations; R is the PC shortcut introduced in version 33.
Look at the board while making a choice
During a choice window, such as a reward or blessing, use View board. On mobile, press and hold it to peek at your formation while you hold the control. On desktop, the Guide also names V; V or Esc returns you to the choice.
Check who is on the field, which items they hold and whether a reward fits the next change you want to make. Viewing the board helps you inspect that decision; it does not replace confirming your choice afterward.
Find your opponent and return to your board
In portrait mode during combat, version 34 replaces the player row with a compact opponent display showing their name, HP and level. Expand the players control to watch other tables.
When spectating, look for Viewing… and use Back to your board to return. On PC, Space or Esc also returns you, and the left and right arrow keys switch rivals. A different board on screen can simply mean you are spectating.
For the new round choices, use the Seals guide. If you are climbing rather than queuing for PvP, the Battle Tower guide explains its different blessing schedule.
PC keyboard shortcuts
The current game Guide lists these shortcuts for desktop:
- W: move the selected Pokémon between the bench and the board.
- E: sell the Pokémon. This is a sale action; use W when you mean to move it.
- D: refresh the shop.
- F: buy XP.
- V: view the board during a choice; V or Esc returns to the choice.
Check the displayed gold cost before refreshing or buying XP. A shortcut performs the game action; it is not a free alternative to the corresponding control. For an evolution that has not completed, check the copies and combat phase rather than repeatedly refreshing.
Keep progress when switching devices
The Guide says progress saves automatically in the current browser. Clearing the game’s site data or using private browsing can wipe local progress. A room invitation and this wiki’s share link do not transfer that save.
To move progress with your Einoow account, choose Save to the cloud in the game and check the account’s save status before switching devices. Merely opening the game on another phone is not the cloud-save step. We have not tested a cross-device recovery; keep the original local copy until you have checked your saved progress.
For choppy graphics after the game loads, follow the developer’s hardware-acceleration advice. Clearing site data is not a routine performance fix.
How do you switch to Traditional Chinese?
Version 34.2 adds Traditional Chinese (繁體中文), using Taiwan vocabulary. Open the game’s settings and choose it manually. The game also selects it automatically when the browser language is Chinese for Taiwan, Hong Kong or Macau.
This changes the game’s interface language. It does not transfer a browser save or change the language of this independent wiki. Keep using the browser that holds your progress, or follow the cloud-save steps before moving devices.

Quick questions
Why did my mobile equipment changes not apply?
Press Save in the full-screen item manager. Version 34 keeps mobile equipment edits pending until you save them. Also check the phase: fighting Pokémon cannot have their equipment changed during combat.
Can I play Kanto Tactics on mobile without downloading an APK?
Yes, use the developer’s browser-game link on your phone. The game’s current Guide includes touch controls. This describes the browser route, not a guarantee for every device or a claim about app-store listings.
How do I move Pokémon on mobile?
Drag from the Pokémon’s tile and release on the target tile. The drop lands under your finger; dropping onto another of your Pokémon swaps them.
Can I check the board while choosing a reward?
Yes. Press and hold View board on mobile. The Guide lists V on desktop, with V or Esc returning to the choice.
Does opening Kanto Tactics on another device transfer my save?
No. A local browser save does not move just because you open the game elsewhere. Use Save to the cloud with your Einoow account and check its status before switching devices.
Does Kanto Tactics support Traditional Chinese?
Yes. Version 34.2 adds Traditional Chinese with Taiwan vocabulary. Select it in settings, or use a browser set to Chinese for Taiwan, Hong Kong or Macau for automatic selection.
