THE DIRECT ANSWER

Complete your first adventure to unlock the Battle Tower. Version 34 gives it 200 floors across ten Kanto sections, followed by the Summit from floor 201. The weekly Tower ranking resets every Wednesday at 08:00 UTC.

The Tower uses a different progression from PvP. Your next milestone is a floor, your upgrades include blessings, and your weekly result belongs to a particular Tower edition. Check those details before following an older endless-Tower route.

How do you unlock the Battle Tower?

Complete your first adventure, whichever one you choose. Version 33 changed the unlock to accept any completed adventure and kept access for players who had already unlocked the Tower. Version 34 then replaced the old repeating climb with the new route.

Look for the Tower entry in the lobby once that requirement is met. If you are moving to another browser or device, confirm your progress through the save-transfer steps before expecting an unlock from a different local save to appear.

The Guide says a lost battle repeats the floor, while reaching zero HP ends the climb. Its record is the highest floor reached. Treat the next boss and your remaining HP as the immediate planning problem.

What changes across the 200 floors?

Version 34 divides the main climb into ten sections, each with its own stage, opponents and rule:

  1. Viridian Forest
  2. Mt. Moon
  3. S.S. Anne
  4. Pokémon Tower
  5. Silph Co.
  6. Seafoam Islands
  7. Pokémon Mansion
  8. Victory Road
  9. Indigo Plateau
  10. Cerulean Cave

There is a boss every five floors and a different colossus every ten. Many defeated bosses or colossi can join your team, according to the update notes. This is not a promise that every boss grants the same reward.

Floor 201 begins the Summit. The Guide describes returning sections in a random order with increasing difficulty there. The 200-floor route is therefore not the end of all progression. The version 34 notes also say opponents push harder from floor 80. Read the current section rule before carrying the same positioning through every fight.

Version 35 makes Marowak’s Ghost on floor 80 always visible and hittable, with more HP. An older strategy based on waiting for it to become targetable no longer describes that floor.

When do blessings and Seals appear?

Blessing offers arrive every ten floors, starting at floor 11. Choose one of three cards. Version 34 groups them by rank:

  • Silver, floors 11, 21 and 31: the usual blessings.
  • Gold, floors 41, 51, 61 and 71: Common and Rare Seals.
  • Prism, from floor 81: Rare and Mythic Seals.

A climb can hold at most seven Seals, with at most two Mythic. After each section, one of the offered cards is that section’s Seal. Inspect your existing choices before planning around another Mythic offer.

The Guide gives one free reroll per blessing; it replaces all three cards, and D is the listed key. PvP uses its own timed Seal selection. Options that would do nothing right now, such as healing at full HP, are excluded from blessing offers.

Read whether a blessing applies once when selected or lasts for the rest of the climb. The Guide also labels whether effects stack. For conditional Seal effects, use the recipient and condition checks rather than judging only by rarity.

Version 35 prevents a Seal and its twin blessing appearing together. The Wallet reduces reroll cost. Check the current price rather than assuming the previous cost.

When does the weekly Tower reset?

The weekly ranking resets on Wednesday at 08:00 UTC, which is Wednesday at 16:00 in Beijing, Singapore and Hong Kong. Use UTC or the in-game countdown if you live elsewhere; local daylight-saving rules can change your conversion.

The weekly Tower is the same for everyone. Week 1, announced in version 34, starts with Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle. At the end of a run, the game shows your best floor for the week and your Top %. From Week 2 onward, version 35 gives each week its own featured collection: shop, rivals and bosses use that week’s types. Read the type icons on the Tower card and leaderboard. Week 1’s starters do not define every later edition.

The Hall of Fame keeps each edition’s top ten and their teams. Tower 0 is the classic Tower played before this weekly format. An old result can belong to that earlier edition rather than the current weekly board. The reset described here is the weekly ranking reset; it is not an instruction to delete your local progress.

How are climbs linked to your account?

Version 34 allows one Tower ranking entry per account. Guest climbs move to your account when you sign in, and your account appears once on the leaderboard. Keep the browser that holds your progress until you have confirmed it on the intended account.

Version 34.1 shows your climb in the ranking immediately with an hourglass (⏳), then confirms it after verification. The hourglass means the result is pending, not that the run is missing or already accepted. The server still checks the climb; visible and verified are separate states. Check the ranking after the result screen without deleting your local save.

Your ranking country comes from your connection and cannot be chosen manually. The notes say only the country is stored for this purpose, not your IP. These are the developer’s published rules, not an independent audit of its servers.

Before the next climb, check the current week, your unlock and save state, then use the blessing schedule to plan your next milestone. On phones, remember to press Save after changing equipment in the mobile item manager.

Quick questions

Do I have to finish the Kanto adventure specifically?

No. The documented unlock accepts your first completed adventure, whichever one it is. Players who already had Tower access keep it.

Does the Tower end at floor 200?

No. Floor 201 starts the Summit, where sections return in a random order at increasing difficulty.

How many Mythic Seals can I take?

At most two Mythic Seals per climb, within the overall limit of seven Seals.

Does the weekly reset erase all my progress?

The published reset applies to the weekly Tower ranking. It does not instruct players to clear saves; check the week label and preserve your existing browser data.

What does the hourglass next to my Tower result mean?

It marks a pending result. Since version 34.1, a climb appears immediately with an hourglass and is confirmed once the server verifies it.
