Version 35 adds 11 collection entries, reworks Flying and Ground, changes Mew’s typing and raises high-level XP costs. The first current-version ranked snapshot has only one day of data; compare those records with the patch before choosing a team.

What the first v35 snapshot shows
Snapshot generated October 24, 2026 at 03:32 UTC. The feed covers October 17–23 and mixes versions; this page includes only records explicitly marked as ruleset 35. Those current-version records cover October 23 only, with 9,866 ranked seat records in the version summary. This is an early one-day sample, not a settled meta or a live dashboard. Composition and unit sample counts are their own observations; the feed’s 125,643 all-version seats are not all v35 records. Ranked results do not establish performance in Adventures or the Tower.
The explicit v35 comp records cover Flying, Ground, Water/Fighting and Poison upgrade cores. Flying averages 3.47 over 354 observations; Ground also averages 3.47 over 234. Their displayed tiers differ after sample adjustment. Water/Fighting averages 4.08 over 208 and Poison 5.06 over 254. The comps page shows the cores, holders and limitations.
The leading unit-family rows include Moltres, Zapdos, Koga’s Weezing, Samurai’s Pinsir, Growlithe, Articuno and Mewtwo under the display formula. That is not evidence that an all-legendary team is the best opening plan. See the 67-row tier table for each sample.
Changes that make older builds unreliable
- Flying: Raptor replaces dodge with +10/24/32% attack speed: half is always active, full for three seconds when its target falls. It chooses the lowest-HP enemy; melee units can dive next to it.
- Ground: Sandstorm replaces damage reduction with 12/19/30% enemy Defense and Sp. Def reduction plus HP chip, excluding Rock and Ground from the chip.
- Mew: at combat start it adopts the team’s main trait, except Ghost and Dragon, and contributes to that trait. It is less sturdy.
- Economy: level 6→7 needs 24 XP, 7→8 needs 40 and 8→9 needs 66.
- Balance: Mewtwo’s Psystrike falls from 125 to 100; the three legendary birds’ abilities fall 8%. Abra’s line, Psyduck’s line, Snorlax and Tauros receive buffs.
- Items: Focus Sash can save each Pokémon only once; extra copies add stats, not extra rescues.
Read the current ability form. Version 35 adds or revises forms for Charizard, the legendary birds, Scyther, Slowbro, Nidoking and Rapidash.
Eleven added collection entries
Cost 3 additions are Venomoth, Porygon and Omastar. Cost 4 adds Victreebel, Tangela, Primeape, Nidoqueen and Kabutops. Cost 5 adds Koga’s Weezing, Giovanni’s Persian and Samurai’s Pinsir, each with a character appearance. The collection increases from 55 to 66 entries.
Arcanine moves to cost 4; its two- and three-star Flame Wheel targets the enemy that has dealt the most damage. These collection entries and evolved forms should not be confused with the Meta feed’s family-row count.
Make a current-board decision
Start with the unit you can field, its ability and available equipment. Recount traits after adding Mew and inspect the new Flying or Ground text before using an older placement plan. Do not spend to reach a final comp without checking the new XP requirement.
The tips checklist covers one planning phase. The Seals guide explains the new 15-second pick and reroll limit. The Adventures guide covers difficulty icons and Traveler Stars separately from ranked results.
Read the version and sample before copying a team
Open the developer’s Meta panel for its latest data. Inspect ruleset, mode, generated time, sample and team detail. This page remains a dated October 24 snapshot; it does not refresh while left open.
The seven-day feed mixes versions. Its overall seat total is not the number of v35 records, and short-window averages do not establish a settled strategy. No firsthand gameplay or causal win advantage is claimed.
Quick questions
Is the v34 ranking still current after the patch?
Version 35 changes roster, traits, abilities and economy. These pages now use explicit v35 records and identify the one-day sample limitation.
How many Pokémon did v35 add?
The official notes add 11 collection entries, taking the collection from 55 to 66. Meta family-row counts are a different measure.
